How to Choose Which Core the Application Will Run On for Windows

imagesDo you have a Dual-Core CPU in your PC? If you don’t have a Dual Core CPU, or Windows, this is no place for you. This is how to choose which core the selected App is going to run on.

STEP 1

Open Task Manager by pressing this combination of buttons: CTRL+ALT+DEL Just don’t add the “+’s”.

STEP 2

Press the Processes tab.

STEP 3

Choose a application.

STEP 4

Right click it.

STEP 5

Choose which CPU core it’s going run on. If you got a CPU with more then just 2 Cores, you can choose between + 2 Cores.

  1. Too many applications on one CPU Core is not good for your computer.
  2. Do NOT put all Apps running on your PC on one Core.
